Describe the problem, not the service
Nobody rings knowing whether they want a repair, a replacement or a TPMS reset, and there is no reason you should. Tell us what the vehicle is doing and we will tell you which of these it is.
Including when the answer is the cheaper one. A repairable puncture is £35 rather than a tyre, and we would rather do that and keep the customer than sell a tyre that was not needed.
The four add-ons underneath are not call-outs on their own. If you need a sensor reset or a locking nut removing, it happens while we are already there.

Which job is it?
One tyre has gone. Which one is that?
Mobile tyre fitting. It is the job most people ring about and it covers anything from one wheel to a full set.
There is a nail in it and it is going down slowly.
Book the puncture repair, not a new tyre. If it turns out not to be repairable we will tell you before we start and you pay for the tyre instead, not both.
I am stuck and cannot drive it.
Emergency call-out. Same job, prioritised, and we will tell you on the phone if the vehicle needs moving somewhere safe before we can work on it.
The tyre pressure light will not go off.
That is usually TPMS rather than a puncture. £25 to read and reset the sensors, and it is often nothing to do with the tyres at all.
I have four vans and no time.
Van and fleet tyres. We come to the yard on a schedule and invoice monthly, so vehicles are off the road for a morning rather than a day each.
I do not know which I need.
