NN14 to NN16, around seventy minutes. Kettering sends us more commercial work than anywhere else on the patch — vans, pickups and the occasional trailer.
Send the size or the registration and we come back with the fitted price.
No obligation. We price it before anything is touched.
The most common mistake we see on commercial vehicles is a car tyre in the right size fitted to a van. Same width, same profile, same rim — and a load rating well below what the vehicle plate demands.
It is an MOT failure. More to the point, it is a tyre carrying weight it was not built for, on a vehicle that spends its life loaded. We will not fit below the plate rating, and if we find one fitted we will tell you.

A van off the road for a day costs far more than the tyre. So commercial work here is mostly planned: we come to the yard, work through what is due, and the vehicles are back out the same morning.
That only works if somebody is tracking tread depths rather than waiting for a failure. For account customers we do that, and flag what is coming up before it becomes a call-out.
The Thrapston and Rothwell side sends us plant trailers, horseboxes and the occasional agricultural fitment. They are a different job — different pressures, different ratings, and often a wheel that has not come off in years.
Tell us what it is when you book. Turning up with the wrong stock helps nobody and it is entirely avoidable.
Kettering itself. Trade estates and a large share of our light commercial work.
Rothwell, Desborough, Thrapston. Rural and agricultural, so heavier vehicles.
Units and yards. Most of our fleet accounts out this way start here.
Freight route, which means the occasional commercial blowout.
Mixed residential and industrial, and a steady run of both.
Just outside the listed area, but we go when the van is already out there.
Around seventy minutes, via the A43 or the A14 depending on where you are. Longer than Northampton and the same price.
Yes, and most of our Kettering work is exactly that. Above three or four vehicles it goes on a monthly account with a standing slot.
If the load rating is below the plate, yes — it is an MOT failure and it is unsafe loaded. We will check the plate and tell you either way.
Yes, but tell us the fitment when you book so we bring the right stock. They are not always sizes we carry as standard.
Ring it in and we will prioritise it. A van off the road is a different kind of urgent from a car on a driveway and we treat it that way.
It is outside the listed area, but we go when the van is already out that way. Ring and ask rather than assuming not.
Tell us the size and the postcode. We will give you the fitted price on the phone and a window, and the van does the rest.
