Northampton
Under an hourTown centre and the estates. Most call-outs, most punctures, most short notice.
NN1–NN7Typical time from your call to the van being with you. They are averages rather than promises, and they are the real ones rather than the optimistic ones.
Send the postcode. If we cannot get to you we will say so rather than string you along.
Price quoted before the van leaves. Nothing added at the kerb.
These six are where most of our calls originate, with the drive time and what tends to come from each. It is a description of our week rather than a territory we defend.
People ring from further out regularly and we go, because the van is already moving. What we will not do is take a booking we cannot reach in a sensible time and leave you waiting.

Town centre and the estates. Most call-outs, most punctures, most short notice.
NN1–NN7
Commuter belt off the A45. Steady run of motorway blowouts.
NN8–NN9
Trade estates and light commercial. Van tyres more than car tyres.
NN14–NN16
Distribution country. Fleet work and a lot of high-mileage vans.
NN11
Rural, plus the A43 and the circuit traffic in season.
NN12
A6 and A45 corridor. Mixed retail and commercial.
NN10A garage tells you where it is. A mobile fitter has to tell you when it can get there, and those are different promises.
The van is somewhere else when you ring, usually mid-job. So the honest figure is not how far away we are — it is how long until the current job finishes plus the drive. That is why every time on this page is an average from real jobs rather than a distance converted into minutes.
What we will not do: take a booking for an hour we cannot make. If the realistic answer is tomorrow morning, that is what you will be told when you ring, not discovered at six o’clock when the van has not turned up.
Coverage works differently for vehicles we come to on a schedule. A yard forty minutes away is no harder than one down the road when the visit is planned rather than reactive, so the six towns are not really the limit for account work.
Email a vehicle list and we will come back with per-vehicle pricing and a standing slot.
If you are outside the patch and genuinely stranded, ring anyway. Sometimes the van is close to you already and it costs us nothing to say yes.
When it is not, we will tell you that quickly and point you at somebody nearer, which is more use than a booking we would have had to cancel.
Ring anyway. The six towns are where most of our work comes from, not a boundary, and we go further for fleet jobs than the map suggests.
No. The fitted price is the same whether you are five minutes away or forty. There is no call-out fee inside the covered area.
They are averages from the last thousand jobs, not promises. You get a two-hour window when you book, and a call when the van actually sets off.
Only where the vehicle is fully off the carriageway and behind a barrier. If it is not, ring recovery first — we will fit the tyre once it is somewhere safe.
Yes, and a lot of our weekday work is exactly that. You will need to check whether the site allows contractors, because we cannot know their rules.
The phone diverts until 20:00 Monday to Saturday and 16:00 on Sunday. Outside that, leave a message and it is picked up first thing.
Send the size and the postcode. We will give you the fitted price and a window, and tell you honestly if we cannot make it work.
