NN1 to NN7, usually inside the hour. The van carries the stock, the balancer and the torque wrench, so the job finishes on your driveway rather than starting there.
Send the size or the registration and we come back with the fitted price.
No obligation. We price it before anything is touched.
More of our Northampton call-outs come from kerbs and potholes than from nails. The town's residential roads have taken a beating and the damage they do is not a slow puncture — it is a sidewall split or a buckled rim, and neither is repairable.
A sidewall is structural. Once it is cut or bulged the tyre is finished, whatever a repair shop tells you, and we will not patch one. The rim is a different question: a light buckle can often be straightened, and we will say so rather than sell you a wheel.

Plenty of mobile fitters carry tyres and a machine but balance the wheel by eye or skip it. You find out at seventy on the A45 when the wheel shakes.
Ours balances on site, every wheel, every time, and it is in the price rather than an extra. It adds about four minutes to the job and it is the difference between a fitting and a bodge.
We get a steady run of blowouts from the M1 either side of Junction 15. That work has rules: we attend only where the vehicle is behind a barrier or fully off the carriageway, and if it is not, we arrange recovery first and fit the tyre somewhere safe.
Nobody should be standing on a live hard shoulder, including us. It is the one job we will turn down on the phone.
Town centre and Semilong. Terraced streets and tight parking, so we bring the low-profile jack.
Weston Favell and Abington. Our busiest postcode by a distance, mostly driveway fittings.
Far Cotton, Wootton, Grange Park. Newer estates and a lot of first-car fitments.
St James and Duston. Where the depot is, so the shortest run we do.
The villages north and west. Longer drive, same price.
Where the motorway blowouts come from. We attend only where the vehicle is behind a barrier.
Usually under an hour across NN1 to NN7, and often a good deal less if we are already out that side of town. We give you a two-hour window and ring when the van sets off.
Most likely. The van runs 13in to 22in including run-flats and the common van fitments. If yours is unusual we collect it the same morning and fit that afternoon.
If it is in the tread, under 6mm, and the tyre has not been driven flat, it gets a proper plug-and-patch for £35. Sidewall damage or a shoulder puncture cannot be repaired safely and we will not do it.
Yes, and about a third of our jobs are car parks rather than driveways. We just need the keys and enough space to get the van alongside.
Send a photo before we set off. If the sidewall is split or bulging the tyre is finished; if the rim is buckled we will tell you whether it is straightenable rather than quoting you a new wheel.
Yes, at £25 a wheel including balancing. We will check they are the right fitment and in date before we start, and we will say so if they are not.
Tell us the size and the postcode. We will give you the fitted price on the phone and a window, and the van does the rest.
